Here fishy, fishy, fishy - Wordless Wednesday with Linky

I recently posted about being a fisherman in training and this is one of many Pike that I caught this year from our annual fishing trip.  Its a small one that we ended up letting go.  My husband had the catch of the week.  Over 6 pounds!  Check it out here.

    1. I definitely am! I haven't caught one more than 2.5 pounds in years! The big ones usually put up a good fight....I would love to catch a musky.

    1. yes. We didn't weight this one but it was maybe 1.5 lbs. There is a limit on the amount of fish you can keep so we just keep enough to eat for the week and some to take home in the freezer. Try to keep the fish population somewhat healthy. If you check out this post http://adventuresinthenest.blogspot.ca/2013/09/fisherman-in-training.html you will see the monster 6 pounder my husband caught!

  9. It's been a few years since I went fishing, but I used to be not half bad at it. Would be fun to teach Lilly one day.
